Believe it or not, I sort of have a love/hate relationship with Ballmer. He did some great things at Microsoft, especially with respect to diversifying their revenue and embracing the cloud as he did, and didn’t hide behind PR and legal like Satya does. Where Satya is scripted and doesn’t do interviews that he can’t prepare for, Ballmer was genuine and sent it which I have to respect. Sure, he ate crow, but he was a damn human instead of some vendor CEO doing what they’re told by LCA.
